These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website emotorepair.com and all repair services provided by Electrical Repair Tech(“we”, “us”, “our”), located at 922 Bacon St, Erie, PA 16511, United States. By using this website, requesting a quote, delivering equipment to us, or paying an invoice, you agree to these Terms.

We provide electric motor repair services including rewinding, AC and DC motor repair, pump and generator service, bearing replacement, dynamic balancing, on-site diagnostics and preventive maintenance. Descriptions on this website are general in nature; the scope of any particular job is defined by the written quote or work order you approve.

Quotes are based on inspection and testing of the equipment supplied and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If concealed damage or additional faults are found after work begins, we will contact you with a revised quote before continuing. No chargeable repair work proceeds without your approval.

A teardown, inspection and testing fee may apply where a quote is declined. The fee is disclosed before evaluation begins and is credited toward the repair if you proceed.

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) and exclude applicable taxes unless stated. We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and approved online payments. Deposits may be required for large jobs, special-order components and custom windings.

Payment is due on completion unless credit terms have been agreed in writing. Invoices unpaid after 30 days may incur interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by Pennsylvania law, whichever is lower, plus reasonable collection costs.

Online payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. By submitting a payment you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method presented.

Cancellation rights, refund eligibility and the handling of deposits are described in our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You confirm that you own the equipment delivered to us, or are authorised to commit it for repair. You must disclose known hazards, including equipment previously used with hazardous, flammable or contaminated materials. Equipment must be delivered drained, clean and safe to handle.

Completed equipment should be collected within 14 days of notification. After 30 days we may charge reasonable storage fees. Equipment left for more than 90 days after notification, or after a declined quote, may be treated as abandoned and disposed of or sold to recover charges, as permitted by Pennsylvania law.

Repairs are covered by the terms of our Warranty Policy. Except as expressly stated there, all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost production, lost profits, downtime, or damage to associated equipment.

All content on this website, including text, layout, graphics and the Electrical Repair Tech logo, is our property or used under licence and may not be reproduced without written permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Erie County, Pennsylvania. We ask that you contact us first so we can attempt to resolve any issue directly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your transaction applies to that transaction.
